The Scholastic High School Program

This program is for High School students 14 - 18 years of age.  Practices start in August and end May 31.  Practices are every Mon., Wed., and Fri. at 3:30pm. The fee for this program is $200 per year, plus traveling expenses for the scheduled regattas throughout the year.  Students who are interested in joining can stop by the club during any of the practice sessions and speak with the coaches. Rowing offers High School students the opportunity to learn about teamwork, commitment, dedication and strength training.  It also gives them the opportunity to be involved and compete in Scholastic Rowing Regattas regionally and throughout the East Coast. Many student rowers who excel at the sport are able to attain scholarships to Ivy League and top colleges throughout the United States and Europe.
