Cape Coral Rowing Club was recently ranked third as a place to "Retire and Row" by RowingandSculling.com. Click here to read the review and see a great picture of a sunset row.
The CCRC has two different age groups of rowing members. Adults, ages 18 to whatever, belong to the Masters Program. Students, ages 14 to 18, belong to the Scholastic Program. All are members of the CCRC rowing team.
Masters scheduled practice sessions are 6pm (5pm Winter) on Tuesday & Thursday and 7am Saturday & Sunday. There are also additional practices held for race preparation and sculling.
Scholastic Practices are weekdays starting at approximately 3:45pm.
All rowers in these sessions receive dedicated coaching in rowing technique as well as personal fitness from our staff of retired college and US Rowing certified coaches. All practices generally last about two hours.
After practices we usually meet to refuel at one of the many fine local restaurants for dinner or breakfast.
If you rowed in college or with another club and are looking to join CCRC, or row as a visitor, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
If you are interested in learning to row, go to our Rowing Programs button and read about our Learn To Row Program which are held 4-5 times a year.
See you on the water!
This is our practice area located on the secluded waters of Cape Coral's spreader canal system. You'll be rowing on wide canals with waterfront homes on one side and beautiful mangroves on the other. There is also the occasional trip out through the Cape Harbour boat lock and onto the Caloosahatchee River.
